Dr Jay Marlow

Jay is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and is a subspecialist in Maternal and Fetal Medicine and Women's Ultrasound.  

 

She trained as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in New Zealand. Jay completed her Maternal and Fetal Medicine (CMFM) and Ultrasound (DDU) training in Brisbane at Mater Mothers Hospital, the largest tertiary hospital in Australasia.

 

Jay is Clinical Leader of Maternal and Fetal Medicine (MFM) at Wellington Hospital. MFM is a subspecialty that looks after pregnancies with complications, such as fetal anomalies or mothers with certain medical conditions or high risk pregnancies.

 

Her passion is providing high quality diagnostic ultrasound and obstetric care for women and their babies.

Dr Brett Lyons

Brett graduated from Otago Medical School in 1992 and completed both his Diploma of Obstetrics and Radiology specialist training in 1999.  

 

He worked as a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Otago and soon after become clinical director of radiology at Dunedin Hospital. 

In 2011 Brett, his wife Lisa, and their 4 children moved to Auckland and since then he continues to pursue his interests in musculoskeletal imaging and intervention.

 

Currently he reports for Mercy Radiology as well as providing reporting and intervention to practices in both Australia and New Zealand.

Ross Marett

Sonographer

Ross is a sonographer with over 12 years experience in the medical imaging field both here in New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

He completed his Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound (DMU) training while based at Wellington Hospital, working across both women’s and general ultrasound.

He has a special interest in fetal cardiac  fetal abnormalities, paediatrics, and renal transplant ultrasound. He also contributes to research with the team at the Otago School of Medicine.  

 

Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his young family, travelling and the outdoors.

Stuart McGregor

Sonographer

Stuart is a sonographer of 10 years experience in obstetric, maternal fetal medicine, gynaecological, vascular and general ultrasound.

Stuart is a senior sonographer at Wellington Hospital and has enjoyed the challenges of being clinical tutor for ultrasound and charge sonographer of Wellington Hospital.

His areas of interest are fetal cardiac imaging, fetal neuro-sonology and infertility assessment.
